Poland is really nice country. I recommend to visitors. I stayed in Wroclaw city, prices are cheap comparing to other countries. Accommodation easy and safe. It has lots of bridges and rivers you can take nice photos
Posted: April 17, 2024I was in Warsaw and Krakow and I liked it very much. Great food and drinks. I used the Viator app to book walking tours. I also did a lot of walking on my own. I also went to Auschwitz for a one-day trip. Things there were also cheap.
Posted: November 6, 2023Last summer, I went to Poland alone, using InterRail. I really enjoyed it and couldn't understand why I hadn't gone there earlier. The people were friendly, and there was always someone who spoke English and wanted to help. I found the prices to be very reasonable. It was nice to walk among the buildings, often a mixture of new and old. Great urban squares with lots of people outside and pleasant temperatures.
Posted: September 30, 2023I was on a solo trip to Poland and it was the best trip of my life. I love Poland. I visited Poznań, Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław, and a few rural and mountain towns. They were all amazing. There is a lot to see, the people are charming, and the food is wonderful.
Posted: September 25, 2023I spent 6 weeks in Poland. It was beautiful and very safe. I was alone everywhere, from the Masuria region to Zakopane. It's very easy to get around Poland, and the people are very nice. Their public transportation is great, and Uber is very reasonably priced.
Posted: September 12, 2023Poland is very safe. I have been to Poland many times and I have never had any problems. I always travel to the south-east region: Krakow, Nowy Sacz, and the Tatras. Wonderful country and very good Polish food. Especially pierogi, borscht, trout, and much more.
Posted: September 7, 2023I must say that Poland has exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful country. Easy to navigate, clean, safe, with old world charm, inexpensive, hospitable for tourists, fantastic food, fairy-tale views and places. I used the Old Town in Krakow as my base, and visited Krakow, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Wieliczka Salt Mine, Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains, went on a train trip to Wrocław, and even took part in a dumpling-making course, run by a local resident in the Kazimierz district in Krakow. I highly recommend it.
Posted: September 6, 2023I visited Poland with a friend and felt like I was in a different world. Incredibly safe despite the language difference. Everything is orderly, clean, and beautiful, and the transport system is easy to understand. The architecture, nature, people, everything is unique. I hope to return there one day.
Posted: September 5, 2023The journey lasted about 10 days, during which I visited Warsaw - Malbork Castle - Gdańsk - Sopot - Toruń - Poznań - Wrocław - Kraków. I also visited Auschwitz. I travelled around Poland by bus. I believe that every place is beautiful in its own way and comparisons are not fair. However, I have to say that I probably liked Warsaw the least, even though it is an extraordinary city, being relatively new, not counting more than 75 years, rebuilt after the end of World War II. I really liked Wrocław, Toruń, and Poznań (even though they are smaller cities) and of course Kraków, which is beautiful. Visiting Auschwitz is heavy and when you are there, you realize what a death camp it must have been.
Posted: September 3, 2023Poland was never on my list of places to visit, but I had the chance to go there last June for three weeks and it was fantastic. I started in Gdansk, then went to Poznan, then to Warsaw, and finally to Krakow. All the time, I felt absolutely safe. The Poles were hospitable and friendly.
Posted: August 1, 2023Poland is a very safe country. It has a lot to offer. Bigger cities like Warszawa, Kraków, Gdańsk have a lot of history. Polish food is really great as well. You won't be disappointed visiting Poland:)
