Austria is a very safe country, it's highly regarded for its clean, wealthy environment as well as respect from the people. It's beautifully endowed with abundant landscapes. Greenery is common, everywhere you turn. Additionally, it boasts of high-quality food, lively parties, and good alcohol.

Recommendations: Although a few words and phrases in German will certainly be appreciated, usually English proficiency is enough.

Austria as a whole can be considered a very safe country. Kidnappings and similar are quasi non existent. What has been becoming a very sad and concerning issue in the past years are femizides. These are typically not random attacks but occur in partnerships.
