Hi, my name is Émilie ✨ I’m coming from belgium, studied pedagogy and gender studies in Oldenburg, Germany. In 2022 I studied in Odense, Denmark and now I currently live in Alicante, Spain 🌞 Since my time in Denmark, I’m traveling a lot! Last year, I went on my first solo trip by train trough Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Austria. Now, I live in Spain til April '25 (as its the actual plan) ✨ At the moment, I am writing my bachelor thesis and will join soon an language exchange project. After that, I am planning to travel again, also together with my partner. ✨

Amazing, friendly environment. Locals help you with learning the language. People may be flirtatious but will respect you and you will feel safe. Nice food, may take longer to prepare. Welcoming locals

I had a great time in Alicante ! I will recommend to visit the Santa Barbara castle, the central market, l'esplanada d'Espanya and of course eat a paella ! Alicante is a lovely city that can be explored in 2-3 days. So if you got more time than that, i'll recommend to go to Altea which is, in my opinion a must see!

My trip was way too short I recommend staying for at least a couple days! The Santa Barbara Castle is a must but I also highly recommend getting lost in the old town streets just underneath it. No shortage of options for food and drink and it has a beautiful beach for warmer days too!
