I felt safe everyday and everywhere, locals were so helpful and everyone speaks English, we booked the hot tub and sauna and it was really nice, it's easy to explore by car and there are many things to see, it's expensive but worth it
Posted: April 12, 2024I took a ferry and a bus to go camping alone in Kristiansund. I had a great experience. I never felt in danger. I did itch hiking on the way back to catch the ferry and I found a very kind man to drive me. I felt safe all the time even during the drive with a stranger.

Amazing trip, I have seen some of the best views and done amazing walks. Would totally recommend if you can afford it. Keep in mind Norway is really expensive (same prices as Switzerland!) and especially Lofoten as it is so far away from everything and most of the products are imported. I wouldn’t be able to tell you exactly what my budget was as I travelled with my family. Great great walks with amazing views, totally breath-taking.
Posted: November 21, 2023I spent two days in Oslo, took a train to Bergen, rented a car and traveled to Trolltunga, then flew north to Tromso and rented a car/drove around the Lofoten Islands. It was the most monumental solo trip I've ever taken.
