Anything like that (mugging, robbery, pick pocketing) will eat away at you if you let it.. but over analysing the moments when you should (or felt you should) have noticed something wwill have a greater impact then the monetary loss/ missing time / trust.... but you have to learn from it and move on. As for Argentinians and the war... its not that Argentina and been in many recent wars and its still very recent, the occupation of the Malvinas very raw.
